This Privacy Notice applies to clients of the Ogden Page Accountancy Corporation ("OPAC"), a company that is licensed by the California Board of Accountancy to provide accountancy, taxation and business management services. It is important that prospects and clients are aware of OPAC’s privacy policy. Accountancy firms, like all other companies who receive personal financial information from services to customers, are required by law to inform their clients, in writing, of their policies regarding privacy of client information. Accountancy firms like OPAC have been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality that are even more stringent than those required by the recently enacted federal privacy laws.
OPAC collects nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

Information OPAC receives from you during meetings and discussions, on applications, tax preparation organizers, worksheets, and various documents OPAC uses in the process of tax preparation and other services to you;

Information OPAC receives from you and others in connection with OPAC's provision of accountancy, business management and tax preparation services;

Information about your transactions with OPAC or others; and

Information OPAC receives from consumer reporting agencies.
OPAC does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about OPAC’s clients or former clients to anyone, except as permitted or required by law. For example, OPAC may disclose certain items of personal information OPAC collects, as described above, with our affiliated company, Cavalier Capital, Inc. Additionally, OPAC may need to discuss your personal information with others, such as your banker or attorney, in order to provide services to you. Furthermore, in limited situations, OPAC may need to provide certain information to unrelated third parties who need to know that information to assist OPAC in providing services to you. In all such situations, OPAC stresses the confidential nature of information being shared.
OPAC restricts access to nonpublic personal information about you to OPAC’s employees and agents who need to know that information in order to provide services to you. OPAC maintains physical, computer, and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
